About Joanne

Joanne Lagasse is a Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW), with Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Calgary, a BSW from Dalhousie University, and a BA in Political Science/French from the University of Alberta. She works with health-care professionals, military members and veterans, neurodivergent adults, and people navigating difficult chapters in their lives.

Joanne believes that many of the challenges we experience are connected to what has happened to us. Her current practice places a strong emphasis on Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), alongside extensive training in EMDR and other therapeutic approaches. Her work is informed by Internal Family Systems, CBT, DBT, and narrative approaches, with a focus on meeting each person with warmth, respect, and without judgment.
